What if other Christians are not supporting me?
There are a few answers to this.
Firstly, perhaps they haven’t understood you correctly. Perhaps you haven’t had the chance to explain properly or thoroughly. Having said that, all you need is just a few to join you – even if it’s just one or two more people. You shouldn’t have to worry about wanting the whole CF to come on board. You only need a few.
Secondly, did you come across too strong? Don’t be proud. Don’t be pushy, and don’t be desperate. Don’t say that this is the only way to do it and if they (your friends) don’t do it, then they’re wrong. That is perhaps not the right way to start.
Thirdly, be confident that God will draw those He wants towards you. He may even draw people who are non-Christians. If it’s God’s vision, it will also be God’s provision.
Fourthly, you don’t have to wait for friends to start. You love others first. Lead by example. Serve with humility. Be a magnet that others will willingly follow after they see you.
Fifthly, perhaps they haven’t heard directly from God? That may be why some might not come on board despite your explanation. Lastly, ask yourself if you have heard from God. If the answer is yes, then refer to the fourth point above. Remember to pray, listen and obey, and stay kingdom-minded.
