Hey all,

I was wondering what to do for RR this week and I decided to pray about it. I and my team was wanting a GOD IDEA not just a good idea. Inspired by Jason Wee that did the 200 Jesus Loves you cards and gave it out to students, SMK La Salle Klang's RR Team decided to do Jesus Loves you bookmarks to give it out to the teacher. We just wanted to bless our hard working teacher =).

Initially we were supposed to hand the bookmarks out on wednesday but different things happened and we came early on Friday morning and place the bookmarks on the teachers table. Surprisingly there were no teachers in the staff room so we just placed a bookmark on every single table.

After school different news started to pop up, but it was not good news. Most of the teacher were offended that we gave them the bookmarks. Anyways me and my team were discouraged because we just wanted to bless the teacher.
So we found some bookmarks in the rubbish bins near the staff room.
A cool thing was some of my friends decided to pick a bookmark from the bin and keep it, because according to them it looked cool.

I thank God that nothing major happened. I also thank God that one of my teachers received the bookmarks and she just told me to be careful and thanked me for the bookmark. She said it was like a blessing so she kept it while the rest of the teacher were looking at it in a bad point of view. At least I know not all the teachers rejected the bookmark.

I also THANK GOD for my CF teacher Miss Ng =). SHe is the best CF teacher you can ever have. She stood up for me and my team and explained on our behalf to the teachers that were offended. Was talking to her on the phone first she was frustrated but when I called again another day she explained and said she like settled it for us.

This was an awesome experience =). To know that all my RR members believed in this and wanted to bless the teachers. To know it was a God thing.

Update:
After a few weeks my pengetua called me into her office. I was so scared I would get a very very long lecture. But instead my Pengetua that is a Christian really was encouraged and said I am proud of what you all have done because of YOUR INTENTIONS WAS GOOD. (Thank God my CF teacher explained some stuff to her). She added but next time try to use not so sensitive words. I was relieved and was glad for what she said.
