Last June, i had tendered a resignation and i left my company in end of July to look for a better job. I felt that i had tendered my resignation by faith and with peace knowing that God will provide not just another greater job but a place with greater Godly purpose. I haven't really found and secured a job in that time.

So, after i left the company, i applied for many jobs and went for many interviews but i also did remember to pray about the new job as well. This went on until i had found and secured a job in September, which is 2 months after i left the company. Praise God for the job but there is more about how i found this job.

I found another job earlier in September, which is located in Damansara Perdana. However, there was a catch and i felt uneasy about the job. I realized the location is too far from my home, the job requires me to work 5 1/2 days a week plus AT LEAST ONE Sunday per month. The pay was what i wanted and i felt i needed the job so much since i haven't earned any money in 2 months. Although i was really desperate, i know i still needed some council because i always wanted to honor God in my career decision.

Finally, after much Godly council with church friends, family and leaders, and of course, ministry from God's Word, i had decided to refused this job. I caught the word "Set your priorities right" in my heart during one Sunday morning service, and that is what prompted me to make this decision. It was a hard decision to make and i didn't know when will be my next job opportunity. But a miracle came because after like 4 days, i went for another interview and immediately, they offered me a position with same pay package but only 5 day a week job and NO SUNDAYS involved. How amazing God is? I felt He knew what i really need and He gave me exactly i wanted without compromise!

I would like to end this testimony with this simple point: Honor God in your decision, and He will honor you back beyond expectations.
